Psychiatric Evaluations & Medication Management
Ms. Cerome is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with over 10 years of clinical nursing experience working in various medical settings, including inpatient and outpatient. Nathacha started her nursing journey as a licensed practical nurse; her passion for advocating for her patients over the years as a registered nurse encouraged her to pursue a higher-level degree to treat the whole patient and make a positive impact.
Nathacha earned her master’s degree in nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University. She worked in an inpatient hospital as a registered nurse and as a nurse practitioner in mental health in the outpatient setting. As a mental health nurse practitioner, she provided clinical assessments and diagnoses for various mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and PTSD to adult patients.
Nathacha incorporates a safe and non-judgmental work environment where her patients can feel comfortable and safe expressing their needs. She believes that the patient should understand their treatment plan and should be given the opportunity to play an active role in managing the symptoms of their mental health conditions. She uses a holistic approach to treating patients, including listening, educating, and medication management.
